The girls have been asking for a poncho. I was in the fabric store the other day looking in this huge remnant bin. Found these remnants. It's like velour and fleece. One lady said she was making a throw. I thought it would be fun to make these ponchos. The only issue I had was that it was shedding all over the place after I cut the pattern. Once they were completed, I threw them in the washer and dryer. I used
McCalls 7012. The girls get so excited when they get a package. Now if I can only get them to sew........
The oldest is a tween so it's been a rocky road to find clothes to fit her. She just tells me what she wants and I try to make it happen. BTW She picks her own patterns.
