DVF wrap dress

I have wanted one of Diane's wrap dresses for ages.

 I have gone in the stores Neiman, Nordstroms etc. trying on different versions. They just never looked quite right on me. I was going through my pattern stash looking for something to make. I came across 4 wrap like patterns. I went on pattern review to see which ones worked the best. I decided to go with McCalls 5974 . I have made 2 in 2 days.

I cant say enough about this pattern. I used my serger for the most part. Didn't use the industrial at all because my fabric was so stretchy on both dresses. I made some minor adjustments to accommodate the girls. Maybe this is the reason the ready to wear ones never fit. Now I am ready to make a real wrap...
