Butterick 5359 Fur Vest Part 2

So I finally had a chance to cut this vest down. I used view C this time. I needed the contour of the bodice to fit the girls.
I was pretty impress the way this turned out. I think the first one I underestimated the fit. And I didn't do a muslin fit. And I was in a mood looking like the snow man. You can see the disappointment on my face haha.
Now the only problem is, I don't think its going to be cold enough here to wear it. Winter is almost over in the south. The trees are staring to bud. But at least its finished. Lined and all. Fur Is not so hard to work with. I am glad I used the ziz-zag stitching it was very easy to take apart.
With the fabric that I cut off I decided to me and my granddaughter a handbag for fall (Her's no so big) fall 2016. So all is not lost.
