Inspiration comes in many shapes, forms, and prices

So my office is off 5^th avenue this gives me a chance to go into some of the pricey stores. Today I ventured into the St John store. I spotted this dress. I am thinking this is cute I could make this out of some Ponte. The dress was wool/rayon. It felt like Ponte. The sales lady said what size do you need? I said a 12. She said try this 8 on. I looked at the price it was 895.00. So I tried it on, it did fit. It was about a 1 1/2 yards of fabric. I told her let me think about it. LOL

 “WHAT, the whole time I am thinking I am so glad I know how to sew”. After work I went to Mood they have the most fantastic selection of Ponte . Its 12.00 per yard. I purchased the deepest brown. Its been really hard not buying and cloths since I have been here, but I have been buying shoes fabric and handbags, galore. Going to try and stich this one this weekend.
