The cloths that Olivia Pope wears are just so awesome. I especially love this Valentino Jacket she has on in this episode.
So I decided to make one. Although my jacket is close. Its in no way Valentino. I used Vogue 8865. Added the zipper and used this chain belt I had. I thought the chain made my jacket look a little more like ready to wear. I had gone to every fabric store looking for this wool. Her jacket looks like wool crepe. My jacket is a tropical wool suiting, close enough. I should re-name my blog the copy cat seamstress. :)

You jacket looks really nice. I like the belt. I haven't watched Scandle, but I am totally obsessed with the clothes of Downton Abbey.

I think your interpretations look great!! So many people I know swear by "Scandal"...I'll have to catch - if for no other reason, the fashion inspiration it provides!
