Road Trip

OK so I was feeling a little blue no creativity at all. So hubby was picking up on that and said pack a bag we are hitting the road. We drove through the smokey mountains by way of Ashville NC. Beautiful we took our  time. And ended up ----SEE NEXT POST

MOOD

THIS FLOOR HAD ALL THE RAYONS 

We ended up in no other than New York. Well you know the first place I wanted to go was to "Mood". It was all that. I broke out in a sweat. I did not know where to start. While I was browsing the store Hubby found a piece of wool for 125.00 per yard. It felt like heaven. Of course we did not purchase it. I did however end up with two fabulous pieces of wool in black (of course) and orange. And I had to purchase a MOOD tee shirt. Which simply says "Thank you Mood"

I needed a white dress to wear to an all white party so I whipped this one up. Its from a discontinued Vogue pattern 2909.  I have about 3 of them. After I adjusted the pattern, Raising the back neck line and lowering the front. I did a muslin fit on this one because I cut the 18 and knew that I would have some adjustments. Vogue runs funky on me its either two large or two small. They are easy to make and fully lined. I have adjusted the pattern to fit my body so its really easy to whip one up. 

Time to start sewing for Winter

I cannot believe that its been 3 months since I have posted. Its not that I haven't been sewing because I have. Lately I have been doing a lot of alterations for clients and its been keeping me really busy. Hubby and I went to South Beach for our Anniversary.  Anyway I have been looking for Fall Fashion trends and Found this site and wanted to share.
