I am back at home. I took my last flight out of yesterday just in time to beat the snow. How many people can say that they lived in New York for 10 months. It was great. I met a lot of very nice people and picked up a new BFF while I was there. I will miss sitting in the restaurants at lunch time watching the Carrie Bradshaw's walking in the 5 inch Jimmy Choo's, or the 4 inch Christian Louboutin. I got so much inspiration, but was only home for a day so I could not sew. Not to mention being a train ride away from the garment district.

Stocking Up on Supplies
Well My time here is almost over lol. I recently found out that the garment district is 10 minutes away from my office, 2 stops on the E train. I had been taking 2 trains LOL.
SIL Thread. You can call this company or order on line. they have every color in the YKK zippers. You can also ask for the color of the teeth, silver, gold or black. They have all color zippers the 8 inch are 1.15 each. The separating 30 inch are 2.50 each. You will never want to purchase zippers from Joann's again. The snipers are 1.00 each, 8 bobbins for 1.00. Serger thread, all colors 1.50.
