Back Home at LAST!!!

Back home I am in the process of rearranging my sewing room. Peeped in there and gasped at the condition. Trying to think of a way to arrange my fabric so that I can stop buying the same fabric over again. Thinking of cataloging my fabric. Deepkia from Pattern Review has a form that I printed. I think its a great form althought I cant remember prices of fabric, Its a start.

I found this picture on line to give me an idea. I dont think my sewing room is big enough for this, but it gives me a good idea.

You can find beautiful fabrics in the oddest places

I was in LA last week but only there for a few days. Unfortunately I was not able to go fabric shopping downtown LA this time. There were a few studies that I didn't visit on my last trip. I am in Appleton Wisconsin (30 miles from Green Bay). I had to share about the gorgeous fabric I found in Hancock. Now, I don't normally shop in Hancock except for fabric, except for notions, patterns etc.. This small town that had a Joanne and Hancock  across the streets from each other so, being the fabric-a-holic that I am, I had to peek in to see how they do it in the mid west.
To my surprise I found theses 3 pieces of fabric in the bargain fabric section at Hancock for 3.99 per yard. It looks like Silk Organza but not as stiff. But very sheer. The label said 60%poly 40% cotton. I cant wait to get back home. Oh did I mention that Joanne had patterns on sale so I took full advantage of the sale.

I found this Robert Graham blouse on line (Neiman Marcus Last Call) for 265.00 on sale for 129.00. SOOOO glad I sew.
