Windows Windows so many Windows

I told you I have been busy doing some home decorating. What I didn't tell you was that I have 24 windows in my home. There are 4 in the kitchen alone. Hence the window treatments. It would take way too much fabric to cover all the windows. But I must say over the years I have successfully managed to covered them all.  I found this fabric about 8 years ago. I had it stored on a roll wrapped it plastic, so it was in pretty good shape. After I painted the kitchen, the fabric I had was a green tulle (HIDDIOUS). I don't know what I was thinking. Green on green was kinda of puke. So after I painted the kitchen I am thinking now I have to go out and buy more fabric.

My trusty husband said "hey what about that fabric you bought for the kitchen like before we bought the house". Ring ring. Of course I didn't want to say your right but in the end I had too give him props. I even have enough left  to make chair cushions. Another story. I didn't have a pattern but I  have the book called The Complete Photo Guide to Window Treatments. If you don't have it you need to buy it.

MISSING IN ACTION

So, I haven’t blogged for a while, a long while. LOL I have been busy painting and making window treatments. I sometimes get so focused on home decor until it consumed me. This time of the year I always like to change things up for the holidays. ( I didn't last year because I had the girls)So I painted and made window treatments for my kitchen and painted the granddaughters room and made window treatments there as well. I have also been doing a lot of alterations. I think when the weather changes folks pull out their winter clothes and decide they don't fit anymore. Good for me right? Anyway I finally got to wear the leopard skirt and blouse. So I thought I would share. And yes it me. This time of the year also pull out my favorite accessory WIGS.
